Needing info on Death valley

Hi!
I am planning a trip in June to Vegas and surounding
sites of interest.
Could someone give me a good route to take from Las
Vegas to Death Valley? Suggestions for lodging?
Would like to spend one night somewhere out that way
and return back to Vegas.
I would prefer a loop route so not to travel anything
more than once.
