I have the 'Trails Illustrated' / National
Geographic Map (this series is found in sporting goods stores and the like) and I think it's pretty darn good... it's one of these waterproof/tearproof
plastic material maps (but folds like paper), it's two sides, has a fair amount of detail, fairly accurate depiction of '2wd' dirt rd, vs high clearance, vs. 4wd roads...
I haven't gotten lost yet :)
