The "real" Lemoigne before the closure, rates as my all time favorite DVNP trail for sustained difficulty.
Steele Pass for the sheer immensity and solitude.
Happy for difficulty (the upper turnoff the led to Sentinel Peak bested me twice soon after I got into wheeling) I vowed to return with mods, but never got to it before the closure.
Most any wash trail after a rain. Ran Jail once at night and remember remarking how difficult it was at night. Then in the morning we realized what happened! Thought we had just lost the two track. It was hammered!
