I think you're the only sane one of the group. When you return back to your couch potato friends who'll still have those creases on their foreheads because they are so stressed out, and they see you so invigorated and full of life, they might, I say might, think they missed something! I'll be there solo in about a month for 5-6 days. My friends think I'm nuts, too. Heck, my family thinks I'm a little off center! You don't know what you're missing until you go. Make sure you go on a long walk, too, so you can see all of the miniature surprises the desert has in store.
