No, my friend, I don't want to close it off to everyone but myself. However, I want people to exercise a little bit of common sense. My point is that because the NPS tries to close everything down, they MIGHT use people's stupidity as an excuse. If you really appreciated DVNP, you would see the point to "rant" about it., because you want to keep these places open, for everyone, not just me. Hey bud, you're right... making Death Valley a national park did'nt increase tourism. Just like in Yosemite, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, etc, etc, all those places don't get a lot of tourists. Let's clarify here, we have thus concluded, based on Alan's wisdom, that park status has not increased tourism in Death Valley.... sure.........
