Since you've mentioned day hike, that would leave out favorites, Big Horn Gorge, and Dry Bone Canyon. Day Hikes would be Marble Canyon or Lemoigne Canyon both in the Cottonwood Mtns. Reasoning: Remoteness.. If you hike over five miles into the backcountry you leave 99 percent of the tourist behind and the area is yours to admire.
