SALINE VALLEY ROAD

I was thinking of heading into Saline Valley tomorrow, 2/6/2002, but found out there is 2 inches of snow/ice on the South pass, and 6 inches on the North pass. Chains required. Guess me and my two-wheel drive Toyota are headed to the Salton Sea area instead! (Info. comes from a local in Bishop who is VERY reliable).
