It is great to interact and have dialogue with fellow backcountry enthusiasts. It sounds like the limited slip is working great for you, which is all thats important. However, I was suggesting the locker for going over class 4 and 5 trails as presented in Mitchell's book. These trails are cool because you can see parts of Death Valley off the main drag, while havn' little fun!
I can sympathize about not having an a/c. I'll never forget coming over Towne's Pass, through Stovepipe to Furnace Creek with the truck without the a/c...in August!
