Thanks so much for the info! I should have said the car has gone everywhere I have asked it to go so far but there is always a road that I think - hmmmmm, should I go for it.
Vertical rocks are probably not in my future but better traction in sand and mud would be a nice thing - after the air conditioning!
Thanks again to you both, especially for the name of the people that do the mechanical stuff. Now to find out if the Tracker can have her differential "upgraded" or the point becomes moot.
