Microvan vs Vanagon

I've driven a VW Microvan over some outragous dirt roads. Ya just gotta let a little air out of the tires and go real slow, which the natural speed for those old air cooled wonders. The clearance on those old vans is amazing. The smoke you saw was most likely not from the engine compartment. If ya know what I mean.
