I read an unconfirmed report that very recent storms made the North Pass icy and required 4x4 or chains. That's all I know post-storm.
Before the rains, all of the roads you mentioned were in normal condition. I traveled South Pass, Steel Pass and Eureka to Big Pine in small storm on Nov 24th and found all routes to be in good shape...then.
