From Furnace Creek drive about a half mile north beyond Harmony. On the little plateau park on the side of the road and walk to the east along the creek. After several hundred yards you will see the Gnome's Workshop area in the stream bed - provided you have found the right creek - it has a little water running in it. Please be careful and don't disturb the rocks on the plateau or in the creek. This is one place you don't want to even leave footprints contrary to a certain groups philosophy.
