We scanned his book into Word then corrected all the mistakes we could find—from the scanning and from the original edition.
Yes there is new information. Little was known about John Rogers and in the epilogue we fill a big void in the literature.
I spent lots of time on the notes, some days working from 6 am to 2 am. The index is a big help for those following Manly.
This edition has almost no citations because that is the way the press wanted it. The information in the notes is from the literature and our own field observations.
As to NEW stuff, I could say the 400 notes are all new in that that information has never appeared in past editions.
