Based upon my notes my last trip in which I traveled to Vegas via Death Valley, the distance from Furnace Creek to the I-15 at Sahara Boulevard in Las Vegas was 120.6 miles.

It took me 2 hours and 44 minutes, including a leisurly drive, photo ops at Death Valley Junction and lunch at Pahrump. Roads are good all the way.

Between Pahrump and Las Vegas there is a minor pass called Mountain Springs Summit, which is 5,490 feet high. The climb up and over is gentle and swift. There could be snow on this summit, but all state highways are cleared of snow as quickly as possible during a snow storm.
