Same fellow. I'm beginning to think more mines were lost on Manly Peak than were ever discovered there. A good read for anyone interested in the region. I received Death Valley in '49 today and have been reading the notes by Leroy and Jean Johnson. The notes are well-worth the price of the book, an excellent piece of work.
