That is an aggressive schedule, but can be done. With the short daylight hours, get an early start to avoid having drive the wash to Cottonwood (the trail may be difficult to find in the dark. Plan on spending minimal photography, snooping around time
I would recommend upon exiting Goler/Warm Springs, to proceed south to the Ashford Mill and the paved highway. The west side road is dirt and you'll "lose" time. Remember, it is 75 miles from Ashford to Stovepipe Wells.
