I've only been in Panamint once since 9/11. On that day there was persistant distant jet noise.
At work daily in Trona, seems jet traffic has increased, way up high, way down low.
Daily a jet is seen at high altitude, which seems to create a hugh contrail; the contrail which then creates a rather thick cumulo-cirrus type cloud cover over much of that portion of the sky, which lingers for a considerable time. A couple of conspiricy types at work have their therories ...
