You must be thinking of the Devil Hole? About the only people that are allowed to dive the spot are Environmentalist doing a fish count they do I believe every year. I've heard rumors of a Navy submersible mini sub remote controlled that dived on the site and encountered very heavy current deep down and had to return to the surface? There is also rumor that their been also divers that have dive on the site and never have surfaced but then again Cave diving is one of the most dangerous sports known. If anyone here at the board knows of any links to any of the stories I myself would love to know. They say it's posable that the so called lake might have some link or connect to Kokoweef Peak. You might want to look into that story also just go to Google or Yahoo and put Kokoweef Peak in your search engine and it should bring something up on the subject.
