David is right about that! The Racetrack was THE reason I first visited DVNP back in 1998. As for other sights to see, may I suggest...
1. Artist's Drive
2. Ubehebe Crater
3. Golden Canyon
4. Zabriske Point
5. Dante's View
6. Badwater
7. Scotty's Castle
8. Sand dunes near Stovepipe Wells
9. Keane Wonder Mine
10. Titus Canyon
11. Mosaic Canyon
12. Fall Canyon (if you like to hike)
One of my best memories is, when I was driving back to Beatty to stay the night in a motel, I stopped about halfway up the Beatty Cutoff, got out of the car and stood there. You can see the lights at Stovepipe Wells down below but the silence you hear is unbelieveable (unless the wind is blowing). Have a fun week and let us know about your adventures.
