Last year Jan & Feb snows made Steel Pass impassable for months, and shutdown Saline Valley's North and South passes several times. However, I've crossed in mid-February before and saw not even a trace of snow.
If last year's weather returns this winter, as you well know, there is no shortage of "Plan B's" in the Death Valley region, right?
