Assuming two inches of rain from the recent storm in the Panamints and assuming a watershed of 18 square mile for Surprise Canyon 627,261,487 gallons of water or 2,613,589 tons of water fell in the watershed. Eighteen square miles is an estimate by me, any corrections or other opinions would be appreciated.
