As of last summer, Dave was stationed at the park headquarters. He told me in May 2000 that he was patroling the main valley and also Greenwater Valley. I easily found him by asking at visitor center, although I knew he'd be there because on that day there were service awards for all park employees. Also met Tumbleweed there that day, back in his "trashy" days with the park service.
