I understand the Ballarat/Indian Ranch Road suffered considerable damage. The gates at Surprise Canyon took a beating, one gone and the other in very bad shape. Since the gates failed to protect Surprise Canyon I suggest we now go to plan B, a giant dam at the head of the narrows.
