I've got to alert you all to a splendid contribution to our web site's "Death Valley Gold" section: "A Trip to Death Valley, 1932."
Submitted by Kent Duryee, these are brief memoirs and photos from his grandparent's Death Valley adventure of many years ago. However, for those of us seasoned backcountry adventurers, you'll find much is the same today. Probably the biggest difference is the quality and reliability of our modern 4x4's.
