Got this today from Birdman:
"Kirk Barker had the Barker Ranch up for sale sometime in the eighties,
I believe it was the late eighties. The price was around $3000. A friend
and I considered buying it but for some reason did not. It was sold, but
that was a longtime ago and the details escape me."
