Titus Status

I know Titus Canyon Rd is currently closed, and I know there are no guarantees re weather over the next few weeks, but I was wondering if anyone here has inside knowledge on how bad the washouts are, whether repairs are under way or won't be started/completed for months, etc?

We're planning a family trip to DV April 7-9, and have always wanted to drive Titus. If there's a chance of it being open, we'll book a night in Beatty and leave a day earlier; otherwise we'll just enjoy the other 3.2 million acres this trip :-)
