Sounds like South Pass is clear - how about Hunter Mtn?

I know Hunter is much higher elevation, and I understand some of the road is shaded. Has anyone tried this route recently? It sounds like with the arrival of 80-degree days it should be clearing up soon. I would like to try this route when I'm there March 21-27 - but not if there's a substantial risk I would get bogged up to my door panels in mud.
