According to the old map that Louie had at the "new" store,there were two stores. A general store on the North side of the street next to the well, and one sitting at an angle next to the short road that went to Post Office Springs.
If it was that store, that might explain why the signs are a little confusing.
I'll copy the pic and compare it to now.
Incidently, I heard that Norma Weston drew the origingal map.
