I should probably add Wilson, Wood, Snow, and Thompson to the list since vehicular access stops well short of the base boundary in all four cases. In fact, you can't drive into Wood at all any more! Shown in the picture is the military sign in Shepherd... well over a mile from closest legal vehicular access!
