Does anyone have any more of the particulars? I base camped out of Briggs about a month ago and crossed Chicken Rock 8 times during my explorations. Although it's a trail obstacle to be taken seriously, in a proper vehicle it is plenty wide and causes a tilt of less than 15 degrees. Over the years it seems to have gotten slightly wider with maintenance.
The purpose of my post is in no way to impugn the driving ability of the poor souls who went over the edge, but as in any accident, to identify the cause so as to help prevent it's recurrence.
I understand sometimes there are no explainations, but was hoping to find out a little more information. FD.
