Geologist Cabin

I just got back from a trip to Striped Butte, still as beautiful as ever. Mengal Pass was the easiest I have seen it. Some people have put rocks in the road and made it a lot smoother. The Geologist Cabin was in great condition, infact the cleanest I have ever seen it! On the 1st day I counted 14 burros and some had small ones with them. Emmett Harder's cabin was also in great shape. I didn't check out the other cabins as they were occupied. Does anyone get the "Striped Bugle"? I think that is what it is called. Emmett and his wife Ruth are printing it. It is a quarterly edition and I think I will get it. Wild Bill used to make the same type of magazine under a different name and it was a really good read.
