Anyone know if the folks that found the remains were looking for the Germans? I was up there a few years ago with a buddy and found the location where the van was found, but realized how useless it was to look any further. There was some speculation that there were fewer than four with the van; maybe something happened to the guy; Egbert. If there were fewer and the lady were with the kids, we could not understand why the folks would not have gone back to the rock house. Now that it looks like the four were together, I could see the guy trying to lead them on down the wash to the Valley. Now I can scratch my return trip to explore further down the wash. Assuming it's them, I'm glad they were found.
