Strange...seems like I was never able to get cell coverage anywhere in the park. Except for the summit of Telescope Peak, and a spot on the road through the Last Chance Mt's (up above Crankshaft Junction).

The call from Telescope Peak connected through Ridgecrest, even though the phone was analog-capable and should have been able to connect via nearby Rogers Peak...

Maybe I just couldn't get reception later because I "upgraded" my phone (no analog)? Or I just didn't bother checking for service since I assumed I had none? Or maybe I too didn't really want to be on the phone while in DVNP? ;)
