This message is directed at no particular person. I only want to make a point. One big problem with people is that they let often let their curiosity trump common sense. My suggestion is to take Castle's advice and experience and just leave the topic alone. Almost everything that ever had to do with Manson in the DV area is forever gone. The man and his followers were just a bunch of uneducated, stupid idiots. They had nothing beneficial to offer anyone. Personally, I don't see how anyone could be interested in the historical events of people with IQs low enough to associate themselves with the cult in the first place, let alone follow the crazy, worthless bastard. He's just a piece of crap rotting in a prison, that's it. There are far better treasures to be sought in the Panamint Range. Go for a spectacular wilderness hike, bring your camera, forget about Manson, and heed Castle's posting a little more carefully. That's my advice.
