I drove several ways to find the quickest route from LV to the springs. Las Vegas to Pahrump to Death Valley Junction to Furnace Creek, is the quickest. It will take 3 1/2 to four hours, and nearly the same amount of time to get from the Saline Valley turnoff to the springs. That section can vary dramatically depending on road conditions, and your vehicle. There is a lot of 5-15 mph driving down the canyon. You have some good recommendations all ready for equipment.
