I can do LAS A/P to PSR, including a couple of stops, in 4 hours. From PSR to Saline is another 6 hours?, but I've never goone all the way to the Springs.

For gear and supplies collections, go west from airport on Tropicana to Decatur. Head north on Decatur. First pass by 4 Wheel Parts and Harbor Freight. Next is Aloha Kitchen for lunch. Then comes Trader Joes, then Wal-Mart, Lowes and Big-5.

Turn left on Charleston and go west. In about 2 miles is Sport Chalet. They also rent packs, tents, etc. A quick jog north and you will hit US-95. In-n-Out Burger, and off you head towards Beatty.

I normally will go through Beatty, as it probably is the quickest route. Though, if you have no stops to make, going through Pahrump, DV Junction, and Furnace Creek is pretty close to the same time.
