Used to be I'd say Goler Wash to Barker and Butte Valley rd from Westside would be about the same condition. But Goler got a lot smoother after they dumped a bizzion tons of fill in the narrows. So, I'd have to say you would find the conditions to Geologist from the Westside Rd. a bit more difficult.
Of course, conditions can always change after a storm. You don't mention what you are driving, but most any 4WD with a reasonable amount of clearance should be able to make it. The worst part is rough road, and some rocky stuff past Warm Springs, but nothing that really even needs 4WD.
