Starter issues, maybe. Battery= no chance. Fuel pumps are now computer driven electronic devices and with no power you have no fuel. Standing fuel is sent back to the tank by vacuum to comply with EPA regulations. Unburned fuel cannot come in contact with the Atmosphere. Push starting a dead battery ended with 2003 models and the new Smog 2 regulations.
