U2 Joshua tree

There may be a previous post on this topic... is there a way to search the archives?

I have read that the famous Joshua tree photo on U2's The Joshua Tree album was shot somewhere west of Death Valley. I do know that the tree has since fallen down, and someone has put a plaque near the fallen tree. Does anyone know exactly where this is? My guess is near Lee Flat, or at least somewhere on the plateau above Crowley lookout.
